Proclamation 9902
To Modify the List of Beneficiary Developing Countries Under the Trade Act of 1974
This proclamation terminates India's designation as a beneficiary developing country under the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), effective June 5, 2019, citing India's failure to provide equitable and reasonable access to its markets. It also removes India's exemption from safeguard measures on crystalline silicon photovoltaic products and large residential washers, and modifies the Harmonized Tariff Schedule accordingly.
