National Apprenticeship Week, 2015

President Obama proclaimed November 1-7, 2015 as National Apprenticeship Week to recognize and promote apprenticeship programs. The proclamation highlights existing administration efforts including $175 million in grants to 46 apprenticeship programs and calls on Congress, governments, educators, and industry to support apprenticeships, but contains no binding policy directives or new legal obligations.
