Proclamation 9073
National Mentoring Month, 2014
In simple terms
President Obama proclaimed January 2014 as National Mentoring Month, encouraging public officials, business and community leaders, educators, and Americans to observe the month with ceremonies, activities, and programs celebrating mentors. The proclamation highlights the benefits of mentoring for young people and references existing administration mentoring initiatives without creating new programs or mandates.
