Minority Enterprise Development Week, 2012

President Obama proclaimed December 2-8, 2012 as Minority Enterprise Development Week, calling on Americans to celebrate minority-owned businesses through programs and ceremonies. The proclamation highlights the $1 trillion economic output of minority-owned firms and references existing administration support through the Minority Business Development Agency and BusinessUSA.gov, but creates no new programs or mandates.
