Honoring the Victims of the Attack in Benghazi, Libya
This proclamation orders U.S. flags to be flown at half-staff until sunset on September 16, 2012, to honor Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and other Americans killed in the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya. The order applies to the White House, all federal buildings and grounds, military posts, naval stations, vessels, and U.S. facilities abroad.
