National Charter Schools Week, 2012

This proclamation designates May 6-12, 2012 as National Charter Schools Week to recognize charter schools' role in American education innovation. It commends charter schools, teachers, and administrators and calls on states and communities to support them, but contains no binding policy directives, funding mechanisms, or regulatory changes.
