To Modify Duty-Free Treatment Under the Generalized System of Preferences, and for Other Purposes

This proclamation modifies U.S. tariff treatment under the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) by designating new eligible articles, terminating duty-free treatment for certain articles from countries that exceeded competitive need limitations in 2008, granting and revoking waivers of competitive need limitations, and making technical corrections to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule to implement prior trade agreements with Chile and Oman and conform to the Miscellaneous Trade and Technical Corrections Act of 2004.
