Proclamation 7395
Establishment of the Minidoka Internment National Monument
President Clinton established the Minidoka Internment National Monument on 72.75 acres of federal land in Idaho to preserve structures and interpret the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II. The proclamation withdraws the lands from public entry or disposition and directs the Secretary of the Interior to transfer management to the National Park Service, with a management plan due within 3 years.
