Proclamation 6922
To Extend Nondiscriminatory Treatment (Most- Favored- Nation Treatment) to the Products of Bulgaria
President Clinton issued a proclamation extending most-favored-nation (MFN) trade treatment to Bulgaria, terminating application of Title IV of the Trade Act of 1974 (Jackson-Vanik amendment) to that country. The proclamation took effect upon Federal Register publication on October 1, 1996, superseding any inconsistent prior proclamations and executive orders.
