National Grandparents Day, 2021

In simple terms

This proclamation designates September 12, 2021, as National Grandparents Day, celebrating grandparents' role in families and noting the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on seniors. It references the 2018 Supporting Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Act and anticipates an upcoming advisory council report, but contains no binding policy directives or agency mandates.
