Adjusting Imports of Aluminum Into the United States
This proclamation extends through December 31, 2025 the tariff-rate quota on EU aluminum imports that was established in 2021, replacing the 10 percent Section 232 tariff for in-quota volumes. It also adds the United Kingdom to the list of countries exempted from the tariff (through 2025), requires certificates of analysis for in-quota treatment, and maintains the 10 percent tariff on aluminum imports from other countries.
To Implement The United States-Peru Trade Promotion Agreement And for Other Purposes
This proclamation implements the United States-Peru Trade Promotion Agreement by modifying the Harmonized Tariff Schedule to establish preferential tariff treatment, rules of origin, and tariff-rate quotas for Peruvian goods. It also delegates authority to the Secretary of Commerce, USTR, and CITA for various implementation functions, and makes technical corrections to prior trade agreements with Morocco, Bahrain, and CAFTA-DR countries.
To Implement the Dominican Republic-Central America-United States Free Trade Agreement
This proclamation implements the Dominican Republic-Central America-United States Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR) with respect to El Salvador, modifying the Harmonized Tariff Schedule to provide preferential tariff treatment, establishing rules of origin, and delegating authority to the Secretary of Commerce, the Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements (CITA), and the United States Trade Representative for various trade administration functions.
Textile Import Program Implementation
This executive order directs the Treasury Secretary to issue regulations within 120 days to strengthen enforcement of textile import agreements, including tighter country-of-origin rules and bonded warehouse oversight. It also creates a new Textile and Apparel Task Force within Customs to coordinate enforcement, with CITA providing policy guidance.
