Delegation of Authority Under Section 709 of the Department of State Authorities Act, Fiscal Year 2017

This memorandum delegates presidential authority to the Secretary of State to submit a report required under Section 709 of the Department of State Authorities Act, FY2017, with mandatory consultation of Treasury, Justice, and the DNI. The delegation also automatically applies to any future law substantially identical to Section 709.
