Presidential Determination
Eligibility of the Kingdom of Swaziland to Receive Defense Articles and Defense Services Under the Foreign Assistance Act and the Arms Export Control Act
President Bush determined that providing defense articles and services to the Kingdom of Swaziland (now Eswatini) would strengthen U.S. security and promote world peace, making Swaziland eligible to receive such military assistance under the Foreign Assistance Act and Arms Export Control Act. The Secretary of State was directed to transmit this determination and its justification to Congress and arrange for Federal Register publication.
