Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect to the Western Balkans

President Bush continued for one year the national emergency with respect to the Western Balkans originally declared in Executive Order 13219 on June 26, 2001. The continuation maintains sanctions and emergency measures targeting persons engaged in extremist violence or obstructing peace implementation in Macedonia, Bosnia, and Kosovo.
