Presidential Determination

Determination Pursuant to Section 2(c)(1) of the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act of 1962, as Amended

President George W. Bush authorized the transfer of up to $8 million from the U.S. Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund to address urgent refugee and migration needs related to Burundi refugee repatriation and reintegration. The Secretary of State is directed to notify Congress and publish the determination in the Federal Register.
