Continuation of Libya Emergency

President Bush continued for one year the national emergency with respect to Libya originally declared by President Reagan in 1986. The continuation maintains sanctions blocking Libyan assets in the U.S. because Libya had not yet complied with U.N. Security Council resolutions regarding the Pan Am 103 bombing.
