Presidential Determination

Determination Pursuant to Section 2(c)(1) of the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act of 1962, as Amended

President George W. Bush authorized up to $27 million from the U.S. Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund to address urgent refugee and migration needs in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Eritrea, and Afghanistan, with $5 million reserved for contingency response.
